Journalist Dayanidhi Bhatta, a correspondent for Janadisha Daily, has urged various organizations to make efforts to save his life saying a group of unidentified persons has been issuing death threat to him and his family members since the last few days.
In an appeal issued on June 22 by Bhatta, he urged to pressure the concerned sides to identify the group and take actions against the guilty.
The threat has caused mental pain to me, my family members and relatives, stated in the appeal.
Freedom Forum asks the government of Nepal to investigate into the incident as soon as possible and bring the culprit to book. The Forum also urges the government to provide security to the journalist Bhatta until the reality behind the threat reveals.
