The District Court, Morang issued a 70-day notice on July 18, 2011 in the name of Parshuram Basnet, the mastermind of a brutal attack on Khilanath Dhakal, a Biratnagar-based reporter to the Nagarik and Republica national dailies.

Earlier, prime accused the attack, Parshuram Basnet was issued a 7-day warrant on July 7, 2011.
Freedom Forum welcomes the court summons.  However, the organization detests the government's apathy to help arrest the journo attacker, Basnet.
