OCTOBER 13, 2008 Freedom Forum has been stunned and grieved on the untimely demise of our Jhapa-based representative Yuba Raj Ghimire, 35 at around 10 PM on October 12. Ghimire died in a road accident along the East-West highway when his motorbike was collided a bus coming from the opposite direction. The late Ghimire was also the Jhapa district correspondent of Deshantar Weekly.
The entire Nepali journalism sector has faced an irreparable loss from his death. He is survived by wife and a son.
Freedom Forum wishes for the eternal peace of departed soul and expresses condolence to the bereaved family in this grief-stricken moment.
