The banda (general shutdown) enforcers have been targeting media even on the third day (22 May) of the 3-day nationwide banda in Nepal.

Photo journalist with the Abhiyan daily, Ashok Dulal was attacked mercilessly at Gwarko of Lalitpur district. As a result, he received serious injury in his right eye. He has been undergoing treatment at a local B and B Hospital.
In the attack, he lost his motorcycle and mobile, it is learnt.
